Shankar’s six projects

Director Shankar must be a happy man these days. And, why not? His Sivaji broke all the records where collections are concerned and work is on progress to dub the movie in Hindi too, as it was well-received in the northern belt.

His low-budget production venture like Veyyil not only received rave reviews but found acceptance among the audience as well.

His other projects Kalluri and Arai En 305il Kadavul are in the offing.

And it does not stop at that! As he is busy selecting six stories for his next production venture. Wondering why the hurry? That’s because he is all set to direct his dream project Robot very soon. When Robot takes off, Shankar feels that he cannot give his undivided attention to the six projects. So he is now busy discussing the stories and finalising the technicians. Director Shankar’s Robot

While Sivaji, the Boss is making huge waves across the globe with whopping figures and international sensation, director Shankar is all set for his dream venture. His magnum opus titled Robot is a gripping science fiction ,with Shahrukh Khan in the lead. Robot will be his second straight Hindi film following Nayak, which was a remake of Mudhalvan. Robot will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house of King Khan himself. The movie, with all its techno jazz, will be released in Tamil, Telugu and other languages. With speculations doing their rounds, the crew details are yet to be finalized.

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. at a hospital in Los Angeles after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest. He had been rehearsing in Los Angeles for the past two months in preparation for a series of concerts in London on July 13 until March 2010.
