Karthik’s dream roles

Karthiks

Actors are a greedy lot! It’s not enough that they have hundreds of fans drooling over them, they get to play the most uniquely-crafted roles on celluloid or that they take home a nice juicy cheque! They always want more.

Karthik, popular theatre artiste who has also acted in many supporting roles in cinema, is no exception to that rule! Karthik, who made quite an impressive ‘US Maapillai’ in Alaipayuthe has done his fair share of cinema since then. But his latest negative role in Ninaithale Inikum alongside Prithviraj has been widely appreciated.

The actor’s acting prowess cannot be doubted now, and many film critics have commented he has the potential to be the next Raghuvaran! Karthik, who plays the lead in Madhumita’s Kola Kolaya Mundhirika, has his own dreams. “It would be a dream come true to land a role in a Kamal Haasan starrer.

He is an amazing actor, and working with him would be a great experience. I would also like to work with directors such as Mysskin, Ameer and Sasikumar. They are all true directors of today, who seem to have the best knowledge about what today’s audiences want,” say the actor.
